Ananda Ashrama -Educational Home

The children of the surrounding villages are poor and are from very weak economic  condition . These students are imparted with free tuition, psychological support and provided a  child-friendly environment for all round development.     Infrastructure for the Ashrama has been built with the support from Rotary Club, Ramakrishna Mission-Bankura, CSR-DSP,SAIL, Nabadiganta  Tapasya Foundation and Calcutta Foundation, and by individual donors. The main gate of the PAF was being built by Imerys Steelcasting India Private Limited for the benefit of the Ashram as well as the children.

Free Text Book Library (Jagarani)

Books on both syllabus and non-syallabus areas are lended free of cost to all village students from class V to Graduation level.

Vocational Trainning Programme

Vocational Training Programmes are being organized for needy boys and girls of the nearby villages.  At Present we are running a Computer Training Center for the poor and underprivileged village students.

Providing shelter to Homeless

Shelters are provided for urban homeless people who are poor, aged, infirm and vagabond . They are provided with food , medicine, life skill, education & entertainment in the shelters.  At present there are 4 nos of shelters are in operation, at 4 different locations namely, Durgapur, Howrah, Habra and Jamuria-asansol, consisting of 150 people in total. These shelters are being operated and managed by Purbachal Ananda Foundation in association with local Municipal Corporations under National Urban Livelihood Mission Project.
